Creating a Product Set
Product Sets can only be created by system administrators. Once created, they can be used by anyone when preparing sales quotes.
If you are a system administrator, follow these steps to create Product Sets for your team:
- Go to Control Panel > Product Settings > Product Sets.
- Click the Add button.
- Enter the name of your Product Set (e.g. Starter Kit).
- Select the first product in the set and enter its default quantity.
- Click Add product and repeat steps 3 and 4 as many times as needed.
- Click Save.
You can create as many Product Sets as your business requires.
Using Product Sets in Sales Quotes
To add all items in a Product Set into a sales quote, follow these simple steps:
- Start creating a sales quote as you normally do.
- Above the pricing table, click the Product Sets button.
- You’ll see a list of all available Product Sets. Select the one you want and click Add.
- All items in the selected set will be added to the pricing table as individual line items.
From there, you can:
- Update individual quantities
- Apply discounts
- Change unit prices
- Remove items you don’t need
Everything works just as if you had added the products manually—only much faster.
